Britain's smallest bird, Goldcrests are tiny, round-bodied birds distinguishable by their gold streak down the middle of their head. Females are similar, with a less golden and paler crest down their head.
Often found in bushes in woodland areas, Goldcrests can be heard from their high pitched 'si-si-si' call.
